‘No Man’s Sky’ receives ‘Echoes’ update


Hello Games has released the long-awaited update!Echoes” (version 4.4) for the game No Man’s Sky!

The update brings exciting new features that expand the narrative introduced in the “INTERCEPTOR” update. In “Echoes,” players will have the opportunity to explore the mysteries of the Autophage, a secret society of robotic aliens. They will be able to perform their rituals, learn their language and assemble their own ceremonial staff. Plus, in deep space, you’ll be able to take on massive Outlaw Dreadnoughts and engage in tactical space combat, among many other exciting things.

Some of the key features of this update include:

  • Be part of the Mechanics of Life – Discover the Autophage, a civilization of robotic beings that have been hidden for a long time. Comprised of scrap metal and salvaged technology, these wandering constructs come in a wide variety of styles, from slender robots to hulking machines.
  • Pirate Dreadnoughts – In the depths of space, the fearsome Pirate Dreadnoughts sail among the stars terrorizing merchant fleets. Face them to rescue civilians from certain death!
  • Salvage Multi-Tools – Become a Multi-Tool salvage hunter with the new Multi-Tool Decommissioning Terminal aboard the Space Anomaly. Refine your collection and obtain valuable upgrades and salvage by dismantling excess weaponry.
  • Exploring Autophage History – Join the entity priest Nada to investigate, meet, and perhaps befriend the mysterious robotic Autophage. A series of guided missions offers hours of narrative and adventure, exploring the origin of these secret constructs and what it means for the universe as a whole.
  • Visual Improvements for Nintendo Switch – Nintendo Switch players will enjoy a highly customized version of AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 (FSR 2) technology, which provides higher image quality and better frame rates.

With a wide range of additions and improvements, “Echoes” further expands the exciting universe of No Man’s Sky.
