Front Mission 2: Remake coming to Nintendo Switch on October 5

The wait is over for fans of tactical strategy games, as Forever Entertainment and Storm Trident have announced that FRONT MISSION 2: Remake will be available for Nintendo Switch through the Nintendo eShop starting October 5, priced at $34.99 / €34.99.

A classic tactical RPG returns with new features

This remake brings back the second installment of the iconic Front Mission series, allowing players outside of Japan to enjoy this mature story, strategic turn-based combat, and Wanzer customization options from the original. FRONT MISSION 2: Remake offers a revitalized experience with updated graphics and new features and improvements.

A plot full of intrigue and conspiracy

The story is set 12 years after Huffman’s second conflict. The impoverished People’s Republic of Alordesh has been suffering serious economic decline since the end of the war. In June 2102, soldiers of the Alordesh Army rise up and, under the leadership of Ven Mackarge, declare their independence from the Oceania Cooperative Union (OCU). Ash, an OCU soldier, manages to survive the confrontation, but Alordesh falls completely into the hands of the Revolutionary Army. Ash and his surviving companions infiltrate the chaotic underworld of Alordesh in an attempt to escape the country, only to discover that there is a massive conspiracy behind the heist.

Multiple perspectives for a complex narrative

In FRONT MISSION 2, the story’s perspective shifts between three characters: Ash, Lisa and Thomas, creating a world that goes beyond a simple dichotomy between good and evil. The plot promises to be full of intrigue and complexity, adding depth to the gaming experience.

Lovers of tactical strategy games and fans of the Front Mission series will surely be excited for the arrival of this remaster on Nintendo Switch. Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of conspiracy and strategy starting October 5!
