King’s Bounty II comes to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series with notable improvements

PLAION and Fulqrum Games have launched the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of King’s Bounty II. Users who own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version will receive a free update and will be able to transfer their save files. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions feature support for dynamic 4K resolution (not available on Xbox Series S), a performance mode that allows you to reach 60 frames per second, faster loading times, and improved overall performance. King’s Bounty II was initially released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on August 24, 2021.

A world plunged into darkness and conspiracy

King’s Bounty II immerses players in a world shrouded in shadows. Conspiracies, sabotage and necromancy are overshadowing the country of Nostria. Counties demand independence, bandits prowl the roads, and rumors of the overwhelming power of Blight emerge from whispers in the darkness. Former King Claudius has been poisoned and is unable to lead the kingdom, so his son, Prince Adrian, must unite the troubled lands while his power and faith come under attack. But perhaps a savior, the kingdom’s last hope, is already here, to fight and finally restore peace and order to Nostria?

Take control and explore a fascinating world

King’s Bounty II allows players to choose from three heroes, each with their own personality and unique skill set, and venture into the fantasy world of Nostria. There’s plenty to explore, from recruiting, developing and commanding your own personal army to delving into a non-linear world full of betrayal, sacrifice and survival. With large bustling cities, small villagers, frozen lands in the north, wide plains and oppressive swamps to brave, King’s Bounty II offers the largest open world Fulqrum Publishing has ever created.

An improved experience on next-generation consoles

With the arrival of King’s Bounty II on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, players can expect an even more immersive experience thanks to graphical and performance improvements. Additionally, the ability to transfer save files from previous consoles ensures that fans can continue their adventure seamlessly on new platforms.

So get ready to delve into the intriguing world of King’s Bounty II on your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series and experience the epic fantasy like never before.
