DANGEN Entertainment, in collaboration with developer Cherrymochi, has announced the publication of the intriguing hidden RPG EXIT VEIL for modern PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and PC consoles through Steam. Although it has not yet been specified which consoles it will be available for or a release date, fans will be able to try out an early development version of EXIT VEIL at the DANGEN Entertainment and Cherrymochi booths at the Tokyo Game Show 2023, which will take place on September 21 to 23 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
In EXIT VEIL, players will take a fascinating journey through the game’s occult, psychedelic labyrinth as Tori, a lost soul navigating a beautiful but terrifying world on the brink of decay. Drawn to this realm by a cryptic request from a long-lost relative, Tori finds herself trapped in a world where the ethereal and the mundane intertwine, a realm dominated by Archetypes, Egregores, Servitors, Demons, Angels, and Machine Elves. Faced with a malevolent force of decay lurking deep within the Labyrinthine Realms, players will have the power to guide Tori toward restoring harmony and healing to the realms. With the fate of these kingdoms at stake, players must choose whether Tori will restore harmony or wander lost in the labyrinth forever.
At the heart of EXIT VEIL is an innovative and immersive gaming experience centered on the mystical world of Tarot. As they explore, players will immerse themselves in EXIT VEIL’s carefully crafted tarot deck, unlocking knowledge that extends beyond the confines of the game and into the realm of self-discovery. This fully integrated tarot card system will guide players as they seek to heal the realms, discover their true selves, and unravel the riddle that lies at the heart of it all. As players collect tarot cards, they will engage in exciting turn-based battles reminiscent of MMO healer classes, where they will always be on the brink of oblivion. The EXIT VEIL tarot deck not only enhances players’ in-game skills, but also serves as a bridge to hidden secrets within the game world. Additionally, a physical EXIT VEIL tarot deck will be available, which will intertwine with the game and provide a portal to hidden mysteries.
