Evil Dead: The Game will stop receiving updates and cancel its Nintendo Switch version

Publisher Saber Interactive and developer Boss Team Games have announced that Evil Dead: The Game will no longer receive additional content updates, and the Nintendo Switch version will no longer be released. However, the servers will remain active for the foreseeable future.

Evil Dead: The Game was first released on May 13, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. Additionally, a Game of the Year edition was released on April 26, 2023 for the same platforms, as well as Steam.

Here is the full message from Saber Interactive: “To the Evil Dead: The Game community, today we have made the decision to no longer develop new content for the game. We also confirm that we will not be releasing a version for Nintendo Switch. We will keep the servers up for the foreseeable future and address any major issues that arise. On behalf of the entire Saber team, thank you for all the great moments and your continued support.”

Sad news for fans of Evil Dead: The Game, as the game will not receive any more content and the Nintendo Switch version has been cancelled. The servers will remain up, meaning players will still be able to enjoy the game online, but the lack of new updates may be disappointing for some.
