Wizardry Variants Daphne PC Version Development Announced

Publisher Drecom and developer Studio 2PRO have announced that they are working on a PC version of Wizardry Variants Daphne. This version will arrive after the release of the iOS and Android versions of the game. Most notably, the PC, iOS, and Android versions will share the same account system, allowing players to enjoy the game on their preferred platform.

Additionally, Drecom has opened applications for a closed beta test which will be available from today until September 28 at 16:00 JST. The closed beta test itself will run on iOS and Android for approximately 10 days and will feature the main story of the first chapter, providing between 15 and 20 hours of gameplay.

The game system follows the gameplay loop of an ancient 3D dungeon RPG, where the player must train and supply in the city, fight and collect items in the dungeons to advance towards the depths of the dungeon known as the “ Abyss”. The player will fight in high-level, command-based strategic battles with a party of six characters, using spells and abilities to defeat enemies.

Wizardry Variants Daphne promises a deep and strategic gaming experience that will appeal to both RPG fans and fans of the Wizardry series. We’ll be keeping an eye out for more details on the release date of the PC version and the progress of the game.
