The Forest Cathedral comes to PlayStation 5 on October 31

Whitethorn Games and developer Brian Wilson have announced that the thrilling first-person environmental thriller, The Forest Cathedral, will be available for PlayStation 5 on October 31. Fans can expect a unique experience!

The Forest Cathedral made its debut on Xbox Series and PC via Steam on March 14, and now PlayStation 5 owners will be able to enjoy this exciting adventure.

The game takes inspiration from the events surrounding scientist Rachel Carson’s research into the harmful pesticide known as DDT, found in her environmental science book “Silent Spring.” Players will take on the role of Rachel, who has taken up a position as a field research biologist on a mysterious island. As she completes her weekly chores, she soon realizes that things are not what they seem.

Players will slowly discover the horrific effects of the pesticide using advanced environmental technology to solve puzzles that intertwine 3D exploration with 2D platforming. What secrets will Rachel discover on this island? Despite attempts to silence her, the truth always finds its way to her.

This title promises an immersive experience that combines narrative with elements of exploration and puzzle solving. Don’t miss the opportunity to delve into the mystery of The Forest Cathedral!
