Spiritual Successor to Velocity Series, IKARO Will Not Die, Announced for Xbox Series and PC


Thunderful Games and developer FuturLab have revealed that they are working on the game IKARO Will Not Die, the spiritual successor to the acclaimed Velocity series. Although no specific release date has been announced, fans of action and speed games can look forward to this new title.

IKARO Will Not Die promises to take the gaming experience to the highest level of fluidity, offering a thrilling combination of arcade action, gravity surfing and unique combat in a game built around momentum and speed. Players will master the game’s gravity systems to navigate sci-fi environments, engage in spectacular chaining combat encounters, and harness a variety of abilities in this new title from FuturLab, the award-winning studio behind PowerWash Simulator and the Velocity series.

Kirsty Rigden, CEO of FuturLab, expressed her excitement at sharing a preview of IKARO Will Not Die, describing it as a spiritual successor to the Velocity series that will take the style and sophistication of combat and traversal systems to the next level.
