Hammerwatch II will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Switch on December 12

The long-awaited open-world hack-and-slash action role-playing game, Hammerwatch II, will launch for PlayStation 5 and Switch on December 12 for $24.99, publisher Modus Games and developer Crackshell announced. In addition, it has been confirmed that it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and Xbox One in 2024.

The game will also be offered in a special digital package and in a physical edition called “Hammerwatch II: The Chronicles Edition”, which will include Hammerwatch II, Hammerwatch Anniversary Edition, additional color palettes for the characters, facial objects and a voice pack for characters.

Hammerwatch II, which initially launched on PC via Steam on August 15, will take you across Hammer Island, the Fallowfields, and the dark mountain regions of Blackbarrow, all in Hammerwatch’s signature pixelated art style. Following the takeover of the land by Blight the Horrible’s dragon army, dethroned King Roland has chosen you as one of the brave heroes who he believes can restore the kingdom to him before he falls into darkness. .

In Hammerwatch II, you’ll be able to create a custom Herian Hero and choose from five different character classes – Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard and Warlock – before customizing your appearance and leveling up to unlock powerful new abilities and skills. Then, gather your closest warrior allies or venture out alone to save the throne and end Blight the Horrible’s takeover once and for all.

This exciting game offers players an experience packed with action and adventure, and its release on consoles is exciting news for Hammerwatch fans.
