Developer inkle has announced that its narrative adventure game with rhythm and survival elements, A Highland Songwill be released for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on December 5.

Game Description: A Highland Song immerses you in the Scottish Highlands, where to lose yourself is to find harmony. The game features a narrative adventure with rhythm and survival elements, developed by the creators of Heaven’s Vault and 80 Days. Moira McKinnon, who has never seen the sea, receives a letter from her uncle Hamish urging her to go to the coast. If she can make it to her lighthouse by the solstice, a wonderful surprise will be waiting for her.

Thus begins the journey of Moira, who, after fifteen years living in the Scottish Highlands with her mother, decides to embark on a search for the sea. In these lands, each peak has a story to tell and each valley resonates with songs. Giants sleep, ghosts sing, ravens carry messages and eagles raise the dead. However, the peaks of the Highlands are unforgiving and their peaks are cold; Moira’s journey will not be easy. Can you help her find a way through this intricate, wild landscape in time?
