Quan Chi comes to Mortal Kombat 1 in new DLC on December 14

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have announced that Quan Chi, the downloadable character of Mortal Kombat 1, will be available to Kombat Pack owners on December 14 and to all users on December 21. Additionally, guest character Peacemaker will arrive in February 2024.

Quan Chi, born in an Outworld mine, had no future, only the guarantee of certain death in its dark tunnels. Fearing for his life after betraying his fellow miners, a mysterious benefactor saved Quan Chi’s life and, in exchange for his service, offered to free him from the mines and train him in dark magic. Now a master of the Netherrealm’s vilest necromancy, he conspires with Shang Tsung to conquer the realms. The new video showcases Quan Chi’s necromancy and portal manipulation skills, including his ability to summon skulls, skeletons, and demons from the Netherrealm for devastating attacks.

Additionally, the trailer offers a first look at Khameleon, a new Kameo Fighter who will be available as part of the Kombat Pack and for individual purchase in January 2024. Khameleon can assist during battles with a variety of support moves.

Viewers will also get a glimpse of Peacemaker, the upcoming guest character from DC’s “The Suicide Squad” movie and “Peacemaker” series in Max. Peacemaker in Mortal Kombat 1 will feature the voice and likeness of actor John Cena and will be available as part of the Kombat Pack and for individual purchase in February 2024.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Prepare for the arrival of Quan Chi and the exciting new features he will bring in this iconic fighting game.
