Sophia the Traveler: Enchanting hidden object game inspired by Venice coming to Steam in 2024.

Thermite Games and developer Memo Gogo have announced the release of Sophia the Travelera hand-painted hidden object game that will be available for PC via Steam in 2024. Inspired by the famous “Where’s Wally?” puzzle book series, the game promises to offer a charming and unique experience.

Developed by the Memo Gogo couple, who never had the opportunity to visit Venice in person, Sophia the Traveler seeks to capture the essence of the city of canals. For three years, they explored virtually every corner of Venice through Google Maps and travel books, and now, with Sophia as their guide, they hope to convey the magic of the city to players.

The game features 10 distinct stages, with massive, detailed maps that vividly portray Venice’s kaleidoscopic array of colors and charm. With over 1,800 meticulously crafted character elements, over 300 sets of character animations, and over 100 sequence animations and sound effects, Sophia the Traveler offers a uniquely immersive experience. Not only does it ensure a whimsical and engaging experience for players of all ages, but it also presents a delightful challenge due to the size of the stage maps.

The game highlights over 100 European buildings, including 8 iconic Venetian monuments, and nearly 300 sound effects meticulously integrated to bring Venice to life. In this enchanting hidden object adventure, players will embark on a journey through intricate, hand-painted landscapes bursting with life and color. The mission is to find hundreds of charming figures and objects, each with its own unique animation and endearing voice acting. Hone your observation skills and immerse yourself in the joy of discovery, all while immersing yourself in picturesque hand-drawn Venice!
