Granblue Fantasy: Relink announces playable characters, theme song and free demo


The long-awaited action role-playing game Granblue Fantasy: Relink features exciting new features, including new playable characters, the main theme song, and a free demo for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The information was announced by publisher Cygames and developer Cygames Osaka.

New Playable Characters:

  1. Cagliostro (voiced by Sarah Anne Williams in English, Sakura Tange in Japanese) – A brilliant mage who founded alchemy in the Kingdom of Heaven. Cagliostro has achieved virtual immortality by regularly replacing her body with new vessels that suit her tastes.
  2. Seofon (voiced by Alejandro Saab in English, Junichi Suwabe in Japanese) – Leader of the Eternals, a group of ten weapons masters. Also known as the Star Sword Sovereign, Seofon collects spiritual swords from defeated opponents and channels that spiritual energy to manifest them on the battlefield.
  3. Tweyen (voiced by Giselle Fernandez in English, Yuuko Minaguchi in Japanese) – World-class hunter and master of the Eternals bow. Her supernatural eyes can locate prey over long distances, and she has the ability to fly. Every magical arrow she shoots from her bow always finds its target.

Theme song:

  • The main theme song for Granblue Fantasy: Relink is “Good Night, Good Morning,” performed by Nao Toyama.

Free Demo:

  • A free demo of Granblue Fantasy: Relink will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in January 2024. The demo will offer a portion of the main story, online multiplayer missions, and will allow you to play as 11 different characters. Players will be able to earn rewards for the full game by completing demo content.

Other Announcements:

  • The six-disc Granblue Fantasy: Relink original soundtrack will be available for 7,150 yen starting March 13, 2024.
  • A Collector’s Edition restock was announced (Japan only).
  • Granblue Fantasy: Relink is scheduled to release on February 1, 2024, available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
