Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising announces downloadable characters and release dates


Cygames and Arc System Works have revealed exciting new features for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising with the announcement of Character Pass 1, which will include 2B from NieR: Automata, Vane and Beatrix. Additionally, the previously announced Lucilius has been confirmed to launch alongside the game’s version 1.10 update on January 16, 2024.

Character Pass 1 Details:

  1. Lucilius (voiced by Sean Chiplock in English, Takahiro Sakurai in Japanese) – A powerful attacker with superior offensive abilities in exchange for longer cooldowns. He Plays with Lucilius starting January 16, 2024!
  2. 2B (from NieR: Automata) (voiced by Kira Buckland in English, Yui Ishikawa in Japanese) – Playable late February 2024!
  3. Vane (voice of Zeno Robinson in English, Takuya Eguchi in Japanese) – Coming in April 2024!
  4. Beatrix (voice of Jennifer Losi in English, Aya Hirano in Japanese) – Scheduled for May 2024!
  5. Two unannounced characters – They will be added in August and October, respectively!

Additionally, a new character named Yukichi (voiced by Mitsuhiro Ichiki), known for his legendary anti-aircraft reactions. He will be available in the game’s Rupie Shop starting December 25.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Players can expect exciting updates and additional content in the coming months, marked by the arrival of new characters and costumes that will expand the gaming experience. Get ready to face new challenges in the Granblue Fantasy universe!
