Lil’ Guardsman, an adventure and deduction game, will be released on January 23 on multiple platforms

Developer Hilltop Studios announced that the deduction adventure game, Lil’ Guardsman, will be released on January 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. Hilltop Studios co-founder and co-writer Artiom Komarov said in a press release: “With Lil’ Guardsman, we wanted to combine the deductive puzzle solving and branching plot of Papers, Please with the warmth and humor of Monkey Island and Grim. “Fandango.”

In this deduction adventure game, players take on the role of Lil, an unlikely 12-year-old hero, covering his father’s shift in the guardhouse and being tasked with deciding the fate of over 100 unique characters. She will question humans, elves, elves, cyclops, and other fantasy creatures, using deductive powers to determine who to admit or deny based on their answers and reliable tools. Sending visitors to jail, accidentally disintegrating them, or letting them go on their merry way are all part of the job. But be careful: who you allow through the castle gates will determine the fate of the kingdom.

Hilltop Studios’ vision for Lil’ Guardsman promises an experience full of humor and intriguing decisions. Komarov added: “We’ve been having fun for two years coming up with scenarios, dialogue, visual gags, and imagining the voice cast that make up the world of Lil’ Guardsman. “We are excited to finally share it with everyone on January 23rd!”

With a focus on decision-making and puzzle-solving, Lil’ Guardsman promises to deliver a unique experience that mixes playfulness with intrigue, and players across multiple platforms will be able to immerse themselves in this adventure starting January 23.
