Publisher Alliance Arts and developer Unknown X have released the second official trailer for the roguelike dungeon builder, Touhou Dungeon Maker: The Labyrinth of Heart. This game, which combines elements of roguelike and tower defense, promises to offer a unique RPG dungeon management experience. Here’s a summary of the game, according to the Steam page:
Touhou Dungeon Maker: The Labyrinth of Heart – Game Description: It is a dungeon management RPG in roguelike and tower defense style. Strengthen your characters, set traps, and defend yourself against massive waves of enemies. Create your own ideal dungeon, survive for 100 days after the attack and discover the mysteries of the magical dungeon.
History: Suddenly, dungeons began to appear and spread throughout Gensokyo. Once you enter the dungeon, your mind becomes disordered and you are attacked by countless girl ghosts. If nothing is done, the entire land of Gensokyo will be covered by these dungeons, and both humans and monsters will lose their homes. The girls who stood up to solve the problem were those with the “ability to influence the mind”, capable of resisting mental disorder and subduing illusions…
Game system:
- Create your ideal dungeon: Make friends with girls, strengthen them, set traps and defend yourself from ghosts that attack you.
- Aim for the 100th Day: Survive for 100 days, earning rewards and defeating ghosts. You will receive a key item, “mysterious graffiti”, depending on the level reached.
- Develop your own character: Each playable character has unique abilities. Use the experience value you gain at the end of the game to unlock new skills and play at a greater advantage.
Characters: Six characters from the Touhou series, including Reisen Udongein Inaba, Satori Komeiji and Hatano Kokoro, will appear in the game.
