4J Studios to Release Co-Op Party Action Game “Manic Mechanics” for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on March 7

Developer, 4J Studios, has announced that the game, which initially launched for Switch on July 13, 2023, will be available to a wider audience. Chris van der Kuyl, president of 4J Studios, expressed his excitement when answering frequently asked questions from fans. “When Manic Mechanics arrived for the first time on Switch, we were asked two questions mainly… ‘Will it be on other platforms?’ and ‘Can you add a competitive mode?’ I’m glad I can answer ‘Yes!’ to both,” he said in a press release.

Game Description:

It’s time to dust off your overalls and put on your utility belt in Manic Mechanics, a chaotic cooperative game in which up to three fellow mechanics visit the haunted Octane Island. The mission: roam the island’s six neighborhoods, from the wreckage of Betty’s Scrapyard to the eerie shores of Banshee Bay, challenging the Master Mechanics who rule each part of the city.

Repair as many cars, trucks, helicopters, tractors, mini-submarines (and even UFOs) as possible to prove your worth in this frenetic race against time. No two games are the same as you progress through 30 unique garage levels, each one more challenging than the last. Completing a garage is one thing, but mastering it and beating your best score requires coordination, skill and determination.

Octane Isle is a great place to visit, whether you go alone or with friends. In co-op mode, up to four players work together like a fine-tuned machine, tracking their team’s best scores, unlocking new characters, and uncovering hidden secrets as they explore Octane Isle together. Or maybe you choose to head straight to the Versus Arena, split into teams, and decide once and for all which team truly dominates the workshop? Whether you choose cooperation or competition, the action takes place in local, wireless and online play.

On Octane Isle, almost anything can happen… the faster you work, the more chaos breaks loose. Gas ignites, tires explode, robots short-circuit, cows run amok, and aliens kidnap, but with teamwork, skill, and maybe a little luck, you’ll earn the right to call yourself a Manic Mechanic! !
