Nexon announces end of services for Warhaven on April 5

The company Nexon has announced the cessation of live services for the free-to-play multiplayer action game warhaven, scheduled for April 5. As of today, all in-game fees have been suspended. Warhaven launched in early access for PC via Steam on September 21, 2023, and was also planned for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

“From the first alpha test in 2021 to global early access in 2023, Warhaven has come this far thanks to everyone’s love and support. “We want to express our gratitude for the love and care you have shown for Warhaven,” Nexon stated in the announcement. He continued, “To create a game that could be appreciated and enjoyed for a long period of time, we invested a lot of consideration and effort. However, unfortunately, we must sincerely say goodbye as of April 5, 2024. We apologize for not being able to bring you better news.”

This announcement marks the end of a journey for Warhaven, and Nexon thanks the community for their continued support. Despite the efforts invested in the development of the game, the decision to end live services reflects the reality of the market and the expectations of players. Warhaven fans will have until April 5 to enjoy the game before their servers shut down.
