Quantic Dream and Sand Door Studio announce the release of Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior

Quantic Dream, in collaboration with Sand Door Studio, has announced the release of “Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior” for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on February 13, with a starting price of $24.99 / €24.99. However, players will be able to take advantage of a special launch discount from February 13 to 20, reducing the price to $19.99 / €19.99. Additionally, a demo will be available from February 5 to 12 as part of Steam Next Fest: February 2024.

Thibault Legouet, director of Sand Door Studio, expressed his pride in sharing “Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior” with players, describing the game as an incredible adventure that evolved from a student project to his studio’s first title. Legouet highlighted the uniqueness of the remnant system, which sends players back to the start of arenas with clones repeating their past actions, adding a tactical approach to the hack-and-slash genre. He invited players to adapt their skills and tactics, combining different weapons and spells, and tapping into their past selves to save the kingdom.

Game Description: “Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior” transports players to the ancient cities of Antala. After half a millennium of peace, a new threat looms over the kingdom. Her destiny rests with Imë, a powerful warrior gifted with divine abilities that allow her to rewind time in combat to summon clones of herself and protect the New Kingdom from the invasion of an ancient and powerful enemy: the Raxes.

Controlling Imë and an army of their past selves, players advance through ancient cities to expand Imë’s arsenal of weapons, acquire new spells, and prepare for a much greater threat. In this tactical hack-and-slash, players experience an exciting combat system that allows them to use multiple versions of their past selves to repeat moves performed in previous iterations of their fights. The game requires players to strategize with themselves to solve puzzles, defeat the Raxes, and help Imë succeed in her mission.
