Frontier Developments announces Planet Zoo: Console Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series


Frontier Developments has announced the launch of Planet Zoo: Console Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. This long-awaited title will be available starting March 26 at a price of $49.99 / £39.99 / €49.99. Players who pre-purchase will receive three exclusive animals: the Pygmy Hippopotamus, the Komodo Dragon, and the Thomson’s Gazelle.

Planet Zoo It made its debut on PC through Steam on November 5, 2019 and is now preparing to captivate console video game lovers with this adaptation. The Console Edition will include all the features, content and animals from the free updates that have been released over the original game’s 4+ year history on PC, promising a complete experience for console players.

The game offers a wide variety of animals that think, feel and explore the habitats that players create around them. From building and customizing to managing the world’s wildest zoos, Planet Zoo: Console Edition allows players to become caretakers and learn about a variety of species while enjoying intuitive controls designed specifically for consoles.

With four different game modes – Career, Franchise, Challenge and Arenas – players will be able to test their skills as zoo managers while they immerse themselves in deep management that allows them to control everything from the most general aspects to the most specific details to ensure the well-being of animals, staff and visitors.

In addition, the gaming community will be able to share their creations thanks to the sharing support on the platform. Frontier Workshopwhere you can download and share habitats, landscapes and even entire zoos.

For those who wish to expand their zoos further, there is a Deluxe Edition available for pre-order, featuring 16 additional animals and two additional stages, transporting players to the rainforests of Southeast Asia and vibrant wetlands. While the Definitive Edition includes all the content of the Deluxe Editionalong with a Season Pass that grants access to 14 future console DLC packs.
