Artisan Studios Reveals Lost Hellden, a Hand-Painted Style Japanese JRPG with Renowned Collaboration


Renowned developer Artisan Studios, known for titles like Astria Ascending and Super Neptunia RPGhas announced his new project: Lost Hellden. This hand-painted, Japanese-inspired JRPG features musical and audio direction by Hitoshi Sakimoto (known for his work on Final Fantasy XII, Tactics Ogreamong others) and the illustrations of Takeshi Oga (Gravity Rush, Sirenetc.).

Lost Hellden promises to offer a unique experience, with an immersive world and a mature story. Players will take control of eight unique, highly customizable characters, as they explore an epic plot in which the 7 Deadly Sins guide their destiny. The game features innovative deep 2D art technology that allows you to play in hand-painted environments with dynamic lighting and weather.

The story takes place on the planet Era, where the inhabitants are linked to one of the Seven Deadly Sins from birth through a religious ritual called the Nexus Ritual. When the inhabitants of Era succumb to their impulses, they transform into aggressive, mindless beasts, and it is the responsibility of the religious representatives, the Arkhons, to maintain order.

Lost Hellden follows the story of twins born under extraordinary circumstances: one is linked to the seven sins, while the other has none. Their journey of self-discovery takes them through an exciting adventure where they will face challenges and dangers.

The game is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG in 2025. Featuring a combination of captivating narrative, unique visual aesthetics, and renowned collaborators in the world of games, Lost Hellden It promises to be an unmissable experience for JRPG lovers.
