The popular horror game “Tsugunohi” comes to PlayStation 4

Publisher Vaka Game Magazine and developer ImCyan have released a PlayStation 4 version of the horror game Tsugunohi via PlayStation Store for $7.49. Tsugunohi was first released for PC via Steam on August 13, 2021 worldwide, followed by Switch on August 10, 2023.

About Tsugunohi: Tsugunohi is extremely popular, with over 150 million related video views. The exquisite horror experience, like watching a short film, will be available on PlayStation 4, following Steam and Switch. Like the Switch version released on August 10, 2023, there is a theme song with vocals fully supervised by the author, ImCyan, and a second round of Tsugunohi: A Whisper of the Past, a very popular story in the series.

Contents: A total of 10 works, including the nine works included in the Steam version released in August 2021, plus Tsugunohi: A Whisper of the Past (added from the second round). The popular Tsugunohi: The Parallel Train in the Dark is also included in the collection. Like the Steam version, a remastered version of the first, second and third episodes of the old works is included with cleaner visuals and improved presentation.

Tsugunohi: A Whisper from the Past: This is the eighth work in the Tsugunohi series, released in August 2020. This time, like the Switch version, a second round is included. The protagonist, a young woman, suddenly finds herself living at her grandmother’s house in the countryside due to her mother’s business trip. Feeling uncomfortable in the melancholic rural atmosphere, she arrives at her grandmother’s house, but fear gradually creeps into her life.

Trophies: In the PlayStation 4 version, you can earn PlayStation Network trophies based on your progress in the game and other factors. They’re also tied to hidden items and discoveries from round two, so be sure to enjoy them!
