THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp Studios have announced Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC (Steam). The launch is scheduled for 2024.
In a press release, Warren Spector, director of the original Disney Epic Mickey, expressed his excitement: “I’ve received more letters from fans of all ages about Disney Epic Mickey than any other project I’ve worked on, which is a true indicator of the timelessness of this game. That my team and I have contributed to that legacy is truly an honor and I am thrilled that fans old and new will be able to enjoy Mickey and Oswald’s adventures in the Wasteland once again.”.
For his part, Luigi Priore, vice president of Disney, Pixar and 20th Century Games, added: “Having been a part of this from the earliest beginnings of the creative idea all those years ago, it fills me with excitement to see new players discover this enduring classic on modern consoles. “We are excited that fans of the original will also be able to relive their own experiences wielding the brush and thinner once again.”.
