FuRyu announces REYNATIS, a new action RPG for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Switch

FuRyu has announced REYNATIS, a new action RPG for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Switch. The game will be released in both physical and digital formats on July 25 in Japan for 7,980 yen. Additionally, a limited physical “Liberators Box” edition will be available for 12,680 yen, while a digital “Liberators Edition” will be available for 12,600 yen.

REYNATIS is a youth action game set in Tokyo’s realistic Shibuya, where two protagonists in different positions fight for the world they want. The story follows Marin Kirizumi, a magician who has gained power free from the restrictions of others and seeks freedom, and Sari Nishijima, who desires an orderly world and keeps magicians under control. The plot develops when these two protagonists from different origins meet…

The game features exciting gameplay mechanics, such as suppression and release, where players can switch between “Suppressed Mode” and “Released Mode” in real time to perform eye-catching actions. Exploration is also essential, allowing players to move in “Suppressed Mode” while hiding their identity to avoid detection by authorities.

Among the talent involved in REYNATIS are Kazushige Nojima as screenwriter, Yoko Shimomura as composer, Yasutaka Kaburagi as character designer, and Yusuke Naora as key visual designer. The game is being developed by Natsume Atari under the direction of FuRyu’s Takumi Isobe.

Fans can see the announcement in the Nintendo Direct and the first trailers for the game, with a full trailer scheduled to debut on February 26. With its mix of thrilling action, captivating story, and richly detailed world, REYNATIS promises to be a can’t-miss experience for action RPG players.
