Xbox Game Studios and Obsidian Entertainment to Release Pentiment for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on February 22

Xbox Game Studios and Obsidian Entertainment have announced that the narrative adventure game Pentiment will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on February 22. Pentiment was first released for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on November 15, 2022.

Game Description: From Obsidian, this game is a historical narrative focused on character development, highly stylized art, and choice-driven narrative in early 16th century Bavaria. Players will play Andreas Maler, a cunning illustrator caught up in a series of murders in Tassing and Kiersau Abbey over twenty-five years. Players will be responsible for conducting their own investigation to decide the fate of the community, but each decision will have lasting consequences and inexorably lead Andreas toward the center of an underlying conspiracy.

Key Features:

  • Illustrated World: Experience 16th century Europe as the great artists of the time saw it. Art inspired by great illuminated manuscripts and early printed books becomes a living world in Pentiment.
  • Discover Mysteries: Choose from different academic and social backgrounds and meet a colorful variety of characters as you discover the stories and secrets found within the small Bavarian town of Tassing and the nearby Keirsau Abbey.
  • Impact a Changing World: In an era of great religious and political change, every decision you make can have a profound impact on the future of the community. Find your own path through this turbulent time and watch the consequences of your choices play out across generations.

Additionally, Limited Run Games also announced that it will produce a physical edition of Pentiment for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Switch. Pre-sales will be open from February 22 to March 24.
