PARAGON: The Overprime announces the termination of its services on April 22, 2024

Netmarble and Netmarble F&C have announced that the online multiplayer action game PARAGON: The Overprimebased on Epic Games’ closing title Paragon, will cease services on April 22, 2024. This game, which launched in Early Access for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on December 5, 2022, will not managed to achieve the stable and satisfactory service standards required to continue its operation.

In an official statement, the developers expressed their gratitude for the community’s support throughout the game’s lifetime, since its inception in Early Access on December 8, 2022. However, after careful consideration, they concluded that they would not be able to provide stable and satisfactory service in the future.

The developers sincerely apologized for the unexpected termination of the service and thanked players for their support despite the game’s shortcomings. They also provided a detailed timeline for the cessation of services, including closing purchasing on April 22, 2024 and closing customer support on August 22, 2024.

Players were urged to save any data or content they wish to retain before the service ends, as official communities and social media channels will also be shut down. Although it is disappointing news for fans of the game, the developers promised to do everything they can to make the players’ experience as smooth as possible until the end.
