Sony Interactive Entertainment announces the release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for PC

Sony Interactive Entertainment and developers Sucker Punch Productions and Nixxes Software will release Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on May 16 for $59.99, the companies announced.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut was first released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on August 20, 2021. The original game was released for PlayStation 4 on July 17, 2020.

“We are proud to announce that our friends and partners at Nixxes are bringing Ghost of Tsushima to PC!,” said Brian Fleming, co-founder of Sucker Punch Productions. “This is a milestone for Sucker Punch as all of our previous work is console exclusive, so we are excited about all of this and Nixxes was the right team for this project. With them on board, we knew the results would be nothing short of amazing! Now excuse me while I order a Super Ultra Wide monitor!”

Pre-sales for the PC version include early-game unlocks for the New Game+ Horse travel companion, the Traveler’s Attire outfit, and the Broken Armor dye from the Baku shop.

PC version summary:

For the first time on PC, play through Jin Sakai’s journey and discover the full Ghost of Tsushima experience in this Director’s Cut. By the end of the 13th century, the Mongol Empire has devastated entire nations in its campaign to conquer the East. The island of Tsushima is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan. As the island burns following the first wave of the Mongol assault, brave samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands his ground. As one of the last surviving members of his clan, Jin is determined to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and take back his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.
