Pokémon TCG Pocket’s next booster pack leaks

The next booster pack for Pokémon TCG Pocket has leaked.

As spotted by CentroLeaks, a video of the new pack was uploaded early to the Pokémon TikTok channel.

The new pack (spoiler warning!) will be called Triumphant Light and focus on the Mythical Pokémon Arceus.

Arceus, the god Pokémon, was introduced in Gen 4 (Pokémon Diamond and Pearl) and also starred in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

The pack is expected to be released later this week.

The lead Arceus EX card has the Ultimate Force attack, as well as the Fabled Luster ability meaning Arceus can’t be affected by any Special Conditions.

What’s more, reddit users have analysed cards from the leak to identify a new gimmick where Arceus EX needs to be in play for certain other abilities to activate. Expect this card to be heavily involved in the battle meta, then.

Triumphant Light will follow the Space-Time Smackdown cards added at the end of January, headlined by the legendary Dialga and Palkia who also debuted in Diamond and Pearl.

As tomorrow, 27th January, is the Pokémon Presents stream, presumably we’ll find out more about the Triumphant Light booster pack then. We’re also hoping to see something of Pokémon Legends Z-A.

The addition of another booster pack so soon adds pressure on players to complete the previous sets. As a reminder, Pack Points can expire if not used and these are specific to each booster pack. The expiry time is currently unknown, but as more booster packs are added that time will surely arrive.
