Nintendo’s vice president of player and product experience, Bill Trinen, has confirmed to Polygon that the Nintendo Switch 2 will not have system-wide achievements. This follows the tradition of previous Nintendo consoles which have neglected to include achievement systems which both Xbox and PlayStation consoles have had for years. Mr. Trinen said to the publication that it will be up to game developers to implement them in their own way similar to the current Nintendo Switch system.
