Nier Automata is generally regarded as an excellent Japanese action game, so it’s no surprise that gamers are eagerly awaiting for a new game in the series, with the last mainline game developed by Platinum Games. There was a mobile game titled, NieR: Re[in]carnation, which was taken offline back in April 2024, but the team could be looking to do something with it as the Nier 15th anniversary website is teasing something NieR: Re[in]carnation-related. The latest tease is some cryptic in-text hints along with the site’s source code. Could they be planning to revamp and rework the mobile game for modern games consoles?
