This is currently unverified news but the legendary Yuji Horii was at Comic Con in Naples and said to attendees that the next project is set to be the beloved Chrono Trigger. Square Enix has not stated on record what the next game is in the HD-2D series, or the remake series, so for now we will just have to wait for an official announcement or a video. Chrono Trigger launches on the Super Nintendo back in 1995.
