Counter-Strike 2 is now available


Valve has excitedly announced that “Counter Strike 2” is now available for PC via Steam as a free-to-play title. Additionally, they offer a “Prime Status” upgrade for $14.99, which grants players Prime status, allowing them to compete with other Prime players and receive exclusive items, item drops, and Prime weapon cases.

According to the description on the game’s Steam page, “Counter-Strike 2” marks a milestone in the history of the franchise, as it is the largest technical improvement made in its history. The game, which is a free update for “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive,” is based on the Source 2 engine and features a modernization with realistic physics-based rendering, next-generation networking and improved tools from the Community Workshop.

For more than two decades, “Counter-Strike” has offered an elite competitive experience, made up of millions of players around the world. With “Counter-Strike 2,” a new chapter in the history of the franchise begins, promising an even more exciting and technically advanced experience.
