Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core Announced

Ghost Ship Publishing and developer Ghost Ship Games have excited “Deep Rock Galactic” fans with the announcement of “Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core“. This new installment is an exciting twist on the roguelite genre, and is presented as a cooperative first-person shooter. The game will arrive in Early Access for PC via Steam in November 2024.

“Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core” takes players into the world of “Deep Rock Galactic” with a roguelite twist. This means you’ll start from scratch on each mission and cooperatively build powers and abilities for your team. This can lead to incredibly powerful creations on some occasions, but also spectacular situations of failure on others.

The story focuses on the discovery of a mineral of great value and utility, Expenite, on the planet Hoxxes IV. Space mining company Deep Rock Galactic sets up covert mining operations to extract this precious material, but suddenly all excavation sites go dark and all contact is lost. In “Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core,” players will join a team of dwarves called the Reclaimers, who are summoned to deal with this situation.

The mission will be to restore the lost excavation sites, uncover the mystery of “The Greyout” and prevent it from happening again. The task will not be easy, but with determination, weapons and teamwork, players will be able to face the challenges that come their way.

The November 2024 release date is an important marker on the calendar for those who have been eager to embark on a new adventure in the world of “Deep Rock Galactic.” With its cooperative approach and roguelite elements, “Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core” promises to offer an exciting and challenging experience.
