Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD arrive on Xbox, Switch and PC on November 1

Developer The Behemoth has announced that Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD will be released on November 1 for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. Alien Hominid Invasion will retail for $19.99, while Alien Hominid HD will be available for $11.99. An “Alien Bundle” will also be available that will include both games for $24.99.

Alien Hominid is a title that began as a flash game on Newgrounds 21 years ago, with its charming hand-drawn animations and exciting side-scrolling level design inspiring the creation of The Behemoth. The team continued developing Alien Hominid for consoles, followed by titles such as Castle Crashers, BattleBlock Theater and Pit People. Now, two decades later, Alien Hominid HD returns alongside the release of Alien Hominid Invasion, preserving Behemoth’s story and expanding it in new ways.

In Alien Hominid Invasion, players can expect a wide range of customization options, fluid character movements, chaotic mutation abilities, and a non-linear gameplay experience, as they continue the story of Alien Hominid HD. The game will allow for online and local cooperative play for up to four players, with the added ability for each player to choose their own difficulty and play across skill gaps. It’s time to grab your trusty laser gun, prepare your alien allies, and get ready for the invasion of your life!
