Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia announces PlayStation Partner Awards 2023 Japan Asia


Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia has announced that the celebration of the PlayStation Partner Awards 2023 Japan Asia. This event aims to recognize PlayStation titles that have had a major impact in the Japan and Asia regions. This year marks the 29th edition of the event, which began as the PlayStation Awards the year after PlayStation was born in 1994.

Unlike previous years, the 2023 ceremony will not be broadcast live, but it is still an exciting time for players and developers in the region. The awards are divided into several categories, including:

  • Big prize: Awarded to the three titles developed in the Japan and Asia regions with the highest global sales between October 2022 and September 2023.
  • Partner Award: It recognizes titles developed in the Japan and Asia region with the highest sales worldwide between October 2022 and September 2023, with particularly notable results.
  • Special Prize: Awarded to titles with particularly outstanding results.
  • Users’ Choice Award: It recognizes the five titles most voted for by users in the Japan and Asia regions. Candidates are selected from the top 30 titles released between October 2022 and September 2023, based on total hours played in the Japan and Asia region.

This event is a celebration of the games that have impacted these regions throughout the year and recognizes both successful titles and user favorites. Fans can look forward to the announcement of the winners in the various categories in December.
