Kojima Productions Announces Death Stranding Director’s Cut Release for iPhone 15 Pro in 2023

Kojima Productions has revealed that it will release Death Stranding Director’s Cut for iPhone 15 Pro in late 2023. This version of the game will run natively on the device’s hardware, which was announced during the Apple event.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be equipped with the A17 Pro chip, the industry’s first 3-nanometer chip. This chip features significant performance improvements, including the largest GPU redesign in Apple history. The CPU is 10 percent faster thanks to improvements in microarchitecture and design, while the Neural Engine is now 2x faster, enabling features like autocorrect and Personal Voice in iOS 17. The class-leading GPU Professional is 20 percent faster and offers hardware-accelerated ray tracing capabilities, achieving smoother graphics and more immersive augmented reality experiences.

Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima’s iconic game, is currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. The enhanced version, Death Stranding Director’s Cut, is available for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

With this news, Death Stranding fans will be able to enjoy this experience on the Apple platform by taking full advantage of the performance of Apple’s new hardware.
