Developer Aggro Crab has announced that Another Crab’s Treasure will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on April 25. Additionally, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Another Crab’s Treasure is a Souls-style adventure set in a ruined underwater world plagued by a mysterious curse. Players take on the role of Krill, a hermit crab who must use the trash around him as shells to resist attacks from much larger enemies. Embark on an epic treasure hunt to recover your impounded shell and uncover the dark secrets behind the polluted ocean.
In this underwater society, trash is not only a way of life, but also a valuable resource used for everything from fashion to weapons. However, the presence of trash brings with it a mysterious infection known as Gunk, which could spell doom for the entire ocean.
Players will learn powerful techniques from nature as they explore the ocean as Krill. Strike your enemies with the overwhelming force of a Mantis Shrimp, tangle them with the creepy Bobbit Worm, and much more.
The game promises a journey through kelp forests, coral reefs, sandcastle cities, and even the fathomless darkness of deep sea trenches, all in search of recovering your precious shell. Another Crab’s Treasure is designed to offer an accessible experience for players new to the Souls genre, as well as provide a challenge for hardcore fans.
