It has been discovered via a 3D character modeller’s LinkedIn account that they are working on a Nintendo strategy RPG sequel which is exclusive to the recently launched Nintendo Switch 2. It sounds likely that this is could be a new Fire Emblem game, though we obviously don’t have official confirmation on that. Taksehi Maruyama, the individual concerned, has worked on a number of projects in the past and was a 3D character model designer for SEGA from 2020 to present, so the possibility is there for a potential cross-over game. No doubt we will hear more about this project in the near future.
