SINoALICE, the dark fantasy role-playing game, will end its service

Square Enix has announced that the SINoALICE, a dark fantasy role-playing game, will come to an end on various platforms. The DMM Games version and the browser version in Japan will end on December 26, 2023, followed by the iOS and Android versions on January 15, 2024.

The announcement of the end of service for the global version was already made in September, with an end date scheduled for November 15, 2023. In the Japanese version, an endgame period will take place from December 26 from 2023 until January 15, 2024, during which the final chapter of the story will be told.

As of today’s announcement, all sales of Twilight Crystals, the in-game currency, have been suspended. Additionally, Square Enix will host an event called “SINoALICE End of Service Roundtable” on January 23, 2024, in which four key developers of the game will discuss their memories.

Users in Japan can apply to attend this event, and 140 attendees will be selected through a lottery.

SINoALICE, known for its dark style and immersive story, has been a popular game among role-playing players, and its completion marks the close of a stage for this adventure.
