Bandai Namco to announce new game in The Idolmaster series for iOS and Android

Bandai Namco has announced that it will reveal a new game in the series The Idolmaster for iOS and Android during a live broadcast on March 5 at 19:00 JST. Details to be announced include the game’s title, featured idols, in-game images, and some of the voice cast.

A teaser trailer released today shows several scenes related to the school, including classrooms, an exterior with a plaque that reads “Private Hatsuhoshi Academy,” a rooftop garden, lockers, and an open-air auditorium. Additionally, a Twitter account called @GKMas_Official was launched alongside the trailer. Its header image is a school auditorium with a banner that says “Hatsuhoshi Academy Entrance Ceremony.”

Bandai Namco registered the trademarks “The Idolmaster Gakuen” (The Idolmaster Academy) on February 8 in Japan. Given the contents of the teaser trailer and the name of the Twitter account, it is likely that The Idolmaster Gakuen will be the title of this new game for iOS and Android.

With the popularity of The Idolmaster series and the school elements featured in the trailer, this new game is expected to generate a lot of interest among fans. Don’t miss the official reveal during the live stream on March 5!
