NIS America to Release Dark Action RPG REYNATIS for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC

NIS America has announced that it will release the dark action RPG REYNATIS, developed by FuRyu and Nastume Atari, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam this fall in the West. Additionally, a new version for PC has been announced. The game will feature Japanese audio and English text.

In Japan, REYNATIS will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on July 25.

REYNATIS is an action RPG set in the meticulously recreated streets of Shibuya, Tokyo. In a world where fantasy meets reality, the citizens of Shibuya fear magic and the power that comes with it, forcing magicians to hide their inhuman abilities or face oppression. In this context, the magician Marin heads to Shibuya in search of freedom through force, where he meets Sari, an officer of the MEA, an organization dedicated to keeping magicians under control.

Featured Features

  • Freedom vs. Order: Experience a captivating story that addresses oppression, competing ideals, and the price of freedom, as protagonists Marin and Sari find themselves on opposite sides of a conflict that will shake the world.
  • City of Secrets: Navigate the streets of Shibuya and choose between remaining hidden to speak with civilians, purchase and accept quests, or reveal your true nature to harness your inhuman powers.
  • Strength and Magic: Freely switch between using evasive maneuvers in Suppressed mode and using magic to deal explosive damage in Unleashed mode. Each of the six playable characters has unique abilities, from summons to air attacks.

With a unique setting in Shibuya and an immersive story that addresses deep themes, REYNATIS promises to deliver an exciting and dark experience for action RPG lovers.
