It has been over half a year now since it was announced that there would be a remaster of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos coming to multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. Although both of the original Croc games did release on the Game Boy Color, both handheld games were done in 2D, rather than the 3D gameplay that the games had on non-Nintendo consoles. Because of this, this remaster will be the first time that Nintendo fans will be able to play a 3D Croc game.
Earlier today, Argonaut Games confirmed that the Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster will be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on April 2nd. The Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 versions of the game will also be getting physical releases that are due to launch in Q2 2025.
