Nintendo has released an update for the Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online app on Switch and Switch 2, giving it the Nintendo Classics branding with a new banner and icon. The update adds the ability to customize your control scheme, allowing you to save different button mappings for each game. 1080p support when playing in handheld mode has also been added for those playing on Switch 2, as well as a GBA startup sequence Easter egg that appears by tilting the analog stick while opening the app.
The “Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Classics” app can be downloaded now from the Nintendo eShop for anyone with an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.
