Nintendo not planning to use Game-Key Cards for Switch 2 games

Nintendo were asked the simple question as to whether they plan to distribute some of their games as Game-Key Cards. Thankfully, the Kyoto-based company said in a straight forward statement that they have no plans to use them for first party games on the Nintendo Switch 2. Game-Key Cards have naturally received their fair share of backlash from gamers, so it’s good to hear that we are safe on that front for first party games going forward.

“We currently have no plans to use game-key cards for Nintendo-developed titles.”
