Nintendo has officially opened up Switch 2 preorders in the UK to all Nintendo Switch Online members, dropping the invite-only requirement.

Pre-orders are limited to one per customer, and you’ll need an active paid Nintendo Switch Online membership to check out. A 3-month membership is available for £6.99 at Amazon and can be redeemed immediately.

With other UK retailers still out of stock, My Nintendo Store remains the best shot at securing a preorder right now. We’ll update this page with any stock changes as they come in.

For those lucky enough to be chosen, My Nintendo Store pre-order invites in the US are expected to go out May 8.

In other Switch 2 news, a Cyberpunk 2077 developer recently commented on the controversial Switch 2 key cards, says having proper “cartridge with a plug and play experience” is “right thing to do”

There’s also a new video with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth director Naoki Hamaguchi, that suggests the full FF7 remake series is heading to Switch 2.
