Amazon UK has restocked Nintendo Switch 2 consoles in the UK today. As of June 18, the major online retailer had both the limited edition Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle for £429.99, and the standard Switch 2 console for £395.99 available to order.

My recommendation? Go for the Mario Kart World bundle while it’s still in stock. Standalone for the game, it’s £66.99 digitally, or around £74.99 for physical copies at retailers like Amazon. That means the bundle is saving you at least £32.99 if you’re looking to play the console exclusive right away.
Shipments for the console are slightly delayed right now, with deliveries currently expected for Wednesday, June 25 for the bundle, and from June 30 for the standard console. This is expected for such an in-demand item, and Amazon will likely continue to update its delivery estimates until the console is out of stock again.

The difficulty to buy the console isn’t surprising, considering the Switch 2 has supposedly been Nintendo’s biggest launch here in the UK, but still sits behind the launches of Sony’s PS5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X/S.
That’s according to data from NielsenIQ shared by The Game Business. Switch 2 has reportedly outsold the original Switch at launch by over two to one in the UK and has also beaten the Nintendo 3DS, which was previously the company’s biggest launch.
If you already purchased a standard Switch 2 (without the game included), you can also still grab Mario Kart World à la carte for £66.99 digitally, or around £75 for physical copies at retailers like Amazon, Currys, and Argos.
The same goes for the Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition — currently £56.99 at Argos, £59.99 at Currys, and £64.95 at Amazon.
If you’re planning to grab a lot of games on the system, the best value Micro SD Express card for the Switch 2 just got cheaper, too.
