Kasedo Games and SomaSim have revealed the development of Rise of Industry 2, the long-awaited sequel to the successful business simulation game. This new installment will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, although a specific release date has not yet been announced.
In Rise of Industry 2, players will be immersed in 1980s America, a time of rapid innovation, globalization, and unprecedented profits. In order to dominate this competitive industrial landscape, they will need to build a cutting-edge manufacturing empire and cultivate a list of high-level business contacts.
SomaSim co-founder Matt Viglione commented in a press release: “We are excited to be working on a game with an existing player base and a devoted community like Rise of Industry 2. Being big fans of this genre, we immediately saw ways to build on the success of the original and take it to a new level.”
The sequel promises to expand on the features of its predecessor, offering players the opportunity to run a variety of businesses, from car factories to vineyards and mining operations. Additionally, players will need to maintain strong relationships with local government, conduct technological research, and expand their network of business contacts to succeed in the global market.
With the option to take on 15 unique scenarios in campaign mode or create your own path to success in sandbox mode, Rise of Industry 2 promises a challenging and rewarding business experience for players on all platforms.
