Tetsuya Nomura: Final Fantasy 7 Remake 3 and Kingdom Hearts 4 “making great progress”


The legendary Square Enix developer Tetsuya Nomura has commented on the state of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 and Kingdom Hearts 4 both of which we’ve heard nothing about for quite some time. Speaking during the second anniversary news stream for the mobile game Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis, Firstly addressing Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Nomura said, “We are indeed making a lot of progress with the game. We already have decided when we will make the announcement as well. And we will stick to that time schedule. So don’t worry, but please wait for it.” Nomura then said the folllowing on the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3,“On that same note, I’m seeing a lot of comments on Kingdom Hearts 4. We are making great strides and going according to schedule.” Square Enix had said that it was doing away with exclusives after disappointing sales of Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, both of which launched as PlayStation 5 exclusives.
