Publisher PLAYISM and developer kouri have announced that the remake of the 2D exploration horror adventure game, Ib, will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 starting March 14, 2024, priced at $14.99. The game will be available in both physical and digital formats in Japan. Additionally, in Japan, the physical edition will be available in two versions: standard for 4,400 yen and limited edition for 5,500 yen. The standard edition includes an art book, while the limited edition includes both an art book and a milk puzzle (all white puzzle).
The Ib remake made its debut on PC via Steam on April 11, 2022 in Japanese, with English language support added on May 17, 2022. A Switch version was later released on March 9, 2022. 2023.
“Ib” is a 2D exploration adventure game set in a mysterious and spooky art gallery. Players will explore the environment, discover objects and disable traps to find their way out of the strange gallery. The story follows a young woman named Ib, who visits an art gallery with her parents. However, she finds herself alone and, as she searches for other visitors, the museum begins to change in disturbing ways.
This release will allow PlayStation players to experience the intrigue and horror of Ib on a different platform, immersing themselves in a story that combines exploration, mystery and a disturbing atmosphere.
