The exciting roguelite first-person shooter, Battle Shapers, is coming to Early Access for PC via Steam on October 3, developer Metric Empire announced. The Early Access version will include “almost all” of the game’s key features, such as more than 50 unlockable items (weapons, skills, talents and suit upgrades), “dozens of random affixes, damage types, status effects and buffs, ” as well as three boss cores to collect from the game’s Overlords.
The full version of the game will feature new biomes, weapons, upgrades and enemies, as well as the final boss and additional post-game challenges and levels. Battle Shapers is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately nine months. Wielding an arsenal of futuristic weapons, abilities and powers stolen from the Overlords, you will shoot, smash and annihilate your way through their trap-filled towers. Defeating these ruthless Overlords will be no easy task, as they will adapt and evolve, changing the challenges of their towers and testing your skills. Learn to use their powers against them, discovering and honing powerful upgrades like the Railgun Fist and Airblade Attack to defeat the hordes of enemies invading the city.
